Midterm On Wednesday 25 February, there will be a mid term exam, which will be one hour long. Before the exam there will be time for questions and a quick review. The exam will start around 7.15, and end at 8.15. After the exam there will be a 20 minute break, (assignments should be collected or handed in during this break). After the break we will cover finding maximum values of functions. (About an hours worth of material). For the mid term exam, expect questions similar to the quiz questions and assignments:

Finding the derivative as a limit (Quiz 2)
Finding the slope of a tangent (Quiz 3)
Finding a tangent with a given slope (Quiz 4)
Finding derivatives of functions using product, chain, power, quotient rule etc (Assignments for week 3 and 4)
Matching a graph with the graph of it's derivative, and sketching the graph of a derivative (Homework: page 75, 2.1, Ex 2, page 77 Ex 13)
