Math 006 - Introduction to Calculus

Lecture 2

We'll start with a review of some algebra, and then have the quiz.

New Stuff

We will cover the following topics in this class:

• Tangent as limit of secants
• Idea of limit
• how to calculate the derivative by calculating successive values of slopes of tangents (use a table).
